"Jangan Khawatir dengan Mereka yang Berusaha Mengganggumu"
Surat Tujuh
"Sibukkan dirimu dengan apa yang Tuhanmu telah perintahkan kepadamu. Jangan gelisah atau khawatir dengan mereka yang mengganggumu, baik mereka adalah salah satu kawanmu atau pun bukan. Jika kamu tidak merasa kuasa atas dirimu sendiri, maka Tuhan Sang Mahakuasa akan membantumu dan mengambil alih urusan-urusanmu. Jika kamu tetap bertahan dan merasa berkuasa, maka Ia akan membiarkanmu mengurus urusanmu sendiri dan membiarkanmu tanpa pertolonganNya. Sungguh Tuhan Mahakuasa atas segala sesuatu."
Sidi Qasim al-Khassasi, "Jangan pernah menghabiskan perhatianmu untuk mereka yang berusaha mengganggumu. Lebih baik sibukkan dirimu dengan Tuhan, dan Ia akan menjauhkan mereka darimu. Ia lah yang membuat mereka datang kepadamu dengan tujuan untuk mengujimu, apakah kau jujur (bisa mempertahankan, pen.) dengan pernyataanmu. Betapa banyak orang yang melakukan kesalahan dalam hal ini; ia menghabiskan waktu untuk mempertahankan dirinya dan melawan siapa pun yang mengganggunya, padahal pada saat yang sama, ia pun akan ikut saling mengganggu dan akhirnya jatuh terjeremus ke dalam lubang dosa. Andai saja ia kembali kepada Tuhannya, maka Tuhannya akan menjauhkan mereka--yang mengganggunya --darinya, dan lalu mencukupi kebutuhannya"

The Letters of Moulay al-'Arabi al-Darqawi
Letter Seven
Occupy yourselves with that which your Lord has called you to do. Do not be concerned with those who harm you, whether they be from amongst you or from outside. If you do not seek to stand up for yourselves then God all-Mighty will do so for you and subsequently take over your affair, and if you stand up for yourselves then He will leave the affair in your hands and you will be left helpless, and God has power over everything.
(Sidi Qasim al-Khassasi:) ‘Don't ever be concerned with those who come to harm you. Instead, occupy yourself with God, and He will turn them away. He is the one who brought them to you in order to test whether you were being truthful in your claim. How many a man has slipped up on this point, and become concerned with defending himself against those who harmed him, therefore causing the harm to persist and falling into sin at the same time. If only he turned to his Lord He would turn them away from him, and suffice him.’ Peace.
